About Innovation Week 2020 - Mbeya Edition

Innovation Week 2020 is a series of events in Arusha, Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Iringa, Mbeya and Zanzibar curated by the Human Development Innovation Fund (HDIF) and COSTECH with support from UKAid and other partners and sponsors. The purpose of Innovation Week is to inspire current and future leaders in the country to take risks on new ideas, collaborate across sectors and transform Tanzania through the impact of innovation.

The main theme this year is INNOVATE FOR IMPACT. The sub-themes are as follows:

  1. Financing for sustainable development
  2. Leveraging emerging technologies for development impact
  3. Smart partnerships for Impact
  4. Leaving no one behind through innovation
  5. Green innovations for industrial development
