Obuntu Hub is a youth innovation hub with the mission to empower young entrepreneurs. We do so by providing co-working space, practical skills development and a supportive community. Some of our key programmes include Jijenge (training for young entrepreneurs with pitch competition), Ignite (programme for international talents to volunteer with young entrepreneurs) and Ibua Innovation Accelerator (entrepreneurship training for technical university students). Founded by a team of young Tanzanians, we are honored to have reached over 600 youth and trained over 200. Follow us on our social media (@obuntuhub across all platforms) to connect!
I see entrepreneurs in Tanzania as catalysts of change, the engines that provide sustainable solutions to our communities' problems helping drive socio-economic development and higher quality of life, across sectors and regions. Armed with hard work, problem solving mindset and perseverance, they are the keys to unlock Tanzania’s potential.
