Pecha Kucha for Innovation Week: Youthful Ideas
Pecha Kucha originally began in Japan and was created as a platform for creatives and those sharing new ideas to do so in a clear and concise manner, creating 20 slides that run for 20 seconds each. The presentation is image heavy giving time for people to actually listen to and engage with what presenters are saying.
This Innovation Week edition of Pecha Kucha aims to share stories of innovations created by the youth. We will be listening to young entrepreneurs, youth from tech, STEAM and business hubs around the city and other young adults who are trying to create new ideas and solutions to help solve problems we have here in our communities.
No matter how big or small the project we believe giving a voice to the youth is very important and any connections that they can make after the session will also prove fruitful in building better and more well-rounded passion projects for our communities.
