This FAQ provides answers to basic questions about TiME Tickets.

What is Time Tickets for?

TiME Tickets is a mobile app which allows you to purchase tickets for different occasions through mobile money options. Purchased tickets are stored and will be validated straight from your phone. TiME Tickets app is currently available for Android platform. TiME Tickets is a mobile app which allows you to purchase tickets for different occasions through mobile money options.

How does TiME Tickets work?

TiME Tickets lists events, free and paid, from which you can get your ticket. After creating your account through the app, you can then buy ticket from any of the event from the list and the your ticket in QR Code will be stored right in your phone. For paid events, you will be prompted to choose from mobile payment options – currently M-Pesa and Tigo Pesa. During check-in, your ticket will be scanned for validation – and your good to go!

How do I get TiME Tickets on my device?

Currently TiME Tickets is available for Android devices only. But once the ticket is purchased, it can be shared across devices/ print as its in the form of image.

What events are supported by TiME Tickets?

Only events listed on the TiME Tickets will be supported. Most of marketing materials of specific events will announce availability of their tickets in TiME Tickets.

How do I purchase/get a ticket?

Once you have downloaded and installed TiME Tickets app, follow the following simple procedures to buy tickets.

1. Select from the list the event you wish to purchase/ get a ticket for.
2. Click the Buy Ticket/ Get Ticket button.
3. For FREE events: You will get your ticket directly after this procedure ready for validation during check in.
4. For PAID events: You will be prompted with options to purchase a ticket using mobile money options, and currently we support M-Mpesa and TiGO Pesa. Once selected the convenient method of payment, you will be guided through payment process of which if goes successful – you ticket will be saved in your mobile phone, ready for check-in.

Where are my tickets stored?

Once purchased, your tickets will be stored in your TiME Tickets app. You can always view them by navigating to <My Tickets> section.

I cant see my ticket! What should I do?

If you cant see your ticket under your <My Tickets> section in the app try the following

• Make sure your internet connection is working perfectly
• Make sure you have login in your account
• Select the appropriate categories under<My Tickets>, as there are two available categories namely <Upcoming> and <Past Events>

I want to give my ticket to some one else. Is this possible?

Currently this is not possible, but soon you will be able to share your tickets with your friends and family through different options.

How do I create my account?

Once you have installed TiME Tickets app, and starting to browse events, you will be prompted to create an account. You can also create your account straight from <My Account> section under main menu.

I have changed my mobile phone. How do I get my tickets to my new device?

No problem at all. Your information is always safe with us. All what you have to do is to install again the TiME Tickets app in your new mobile phone and login to your account. This will retrieve all your tickets and settings to your new device.

Troubleshooting

Why TiME Tickets app is not working?

If the app is not working, check your internet settings as the app requires Wi-Fi connection or mobile data for it to work. If connection is good then make sure you have most up-to-date version of the app!

Why can’t I see my tickets which I have already purchased?

If you cant see your ticket under your <My Tickets> section in the app try the following

• Make sure you have login in your account
• Select the appropriate categories under<My Tickets>, as there are two available categories namely <Upcoming> and <Past Events>
